Generation 8 Cabernet Sauvignon demonstrates the greater power and strength of the grape variety compared to Merlot or Shiraz. This is a medium- to full-bodied wine with spicy black fruits aromas. It has a good tannin structure – it was aged for a short period with oak – giving length and a bitter fruit finish. The Bosman farm at Bovlei is well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon with early summers and well-drained soils giving the grapes time to fully ripen.
