Chenin Blanc suits the South African climate. The 2021 Generation 8 is a delicious example – and an immediate delight. Pale in colour, it has aromas of fresh apples and pears which continue on the palate. It is smooth and round with a perfect touch of almost imperceptible sweetness to balance the naturally crisp finish. A small part of the Chenin grapes were dried in the sun before pressing, and another small portion left in contact with the skins to add texture and structure.
