A light- to medium-bodied Merlot, it has aromas of cooked forest fruits and apple. The palate is supple with a vibrant acidity and lingering raspberry finish. Grapes came from a number of sites on schist soils in Hermon and on decomposed granite in Bovlei from plantings in 2001 to as young as 2013.
