By opening the canopy and reducing the vines’ yield through green harvesting, vineyard manager Jannie de Clerk achieves optimal ripening in the cooler terroir surrounding Groote Post. This is a full-bodied wine perfumed with aromas of plum, raspberry, strawberry, cherry and flowers. The first sip reveals a juicy and concentrated core which echoes the bouquet. Ready to drink with supple tannins and an engaging herbal twist to the finish. 2023-2025 – LW
