The Negroamaro grapes for the Guarano cuvée are left to hang on the vines into the month of October. This extended ripening period concentrates grape sugars leading to intensely ripe, velvety wines. This 2021 cuvée is redolent of baked and stewed dark fruit flavours. Fresh acidity, muscular tannins, and lingering earthy, tobacco-type notes frame the fruit and temper the off-dry finish. 2024-2028–JB
