Les Grandes Serres

A blend of 10 varieties with a portion aged in oak. The wine has a very deep ruby, opaque appearance. The nose leads with a medium-plus intensity, lifted aromatic set with dried red plum, dried rosehip, a clay/brick component, raw chocolate powder, chestnut and roasted carrots. The dry palate follows with a medium-minus acidity, a high extract, high fine-textured tannins, a full body and impressive length and intensity of cream, dried red plum, dried rosehip, clay/brick, raw chocolate, chestnut and roasted carrot flavours funneling towards a long finish. A huge wine, yet not clunky but nimble and with a nice presence on palate. 2025-2030–IR
