Grape Variety

Albarin

Producer

Vina de Belesar

The Albarín grape is native to northwest Spain, primarily in Asturias and León. A medium lemon-yellow hue in the glass, the wine leads with a medium-plus intensity range of attractive, fragrant and overt elements of fresh quince, aloe, lees/paste, mimosa and Meyer lemon sorbet. It is dry with a medium acidity, a medium-plus extract, a soft-plus texture, a medium-plus body and matching length and persistence of fresh quince, aloe, paste, Meyer lemon sorbet and floral notes towards a medium finish. It has a nice coating presence on the palate yet stays fresh all the way through. 2025-2026–IR
