The name of this Prieto Picudo cuvee refers to Mauricio’s work to return to this part of Spain generations after his ancestors left it for Argentina. The wine is black-purple, opaque in the glass. The nose offers a medium-intensity aromatic range of tart black plum, cedar, blueberry tart, chives, ink and tar. The dry, medium-sized palate – acidity, extract, fine powdery-textured tannins and body – shows a nice length and features sour black plum, chokeberry, dried blueberry tart, chives, mint, cedar and tar flavours, before a medium-plus finish. 2025-2027–IR
