The nose of the 2020 Hook & Ladder Stegman Ranch Pinot Noir is expressive, perfumed with aromas of cherry and strawberry interwoven with a hint of baking spice from time in oak. While this wine is light in body, it is anything but light in flavour. On the palate, it is packed with Bing cherry, strawberry and red licorice notes. The fruit is framed by ethereal tannins and refreshing acidity, all in perfect harmony. The finish is long and memorable making this a wonderful food wine. Cedar plank salmon served with mushroom risotto would be a fantastic match.
