Blaufrankisch

A savoury wine with yeasty notes and a hint of rubber. More dark forest fruits start to emerge on the palate. It is medium-bodied with more dark forest fruits emerging on the palate and a sour cherry finish. Although not hugely expressive, it improves with some aeration. A small 10% of the wine was matured with oak. Burgenland is particularly famous for the Blaufränkisch grape.
