Jacques Charlet
The Charlet family have been landowners and wine merchants in Beaujolais and the Mâconnais since the 18th century. In 1754, their wines were already held in high esteem in Paris. One of their customers was the first architect to King Louis XVI, working on the magnificent Château de Versailles. Today, the family continues to own several estates with wines produced under the supervision of chief winemaker Jean-Pierre Rodet.
