From two plots of 100-year-old vines and even older. The color is an opaque deep purple. It is decadent and appealing on the nose with medium-plus intensity aromas of dried oregano, black olive and olive oil, smoked sprats and sour black plum – dried and reduction. The palate is dry, has a medium acidity, a medium extract, medium fine squeaky-textured tannins, a medium-plus warm but balanced alcohol and a medium body. The fruit is a bit stacked but shows depth and promise with a nice persistence and a medium-plus length with flavours of smoke, black sour plum reduction, herbs and black olive, closing with medium-plus finish. 2025-2030–IR
