Crushed blackcurrants and concentrated dark-fruit flavours with a firm structure. The 2018 growing season started slowly. A good fruit set followed by cooler than average night temperatures in March and low rainfall lead to colour and flavour development in the grapes. This is a full-bodied wine which will benefit from some bottle maturation to fully express itself. It was matured for 18 months in oak with 30% new.
