The average age of vines for this bottling is around 70 years. The wine offers a black-purple ruby, opaque presence and a medium-intensity nose with aromas of red fruit, prune spread, ink, graphite, cream and flowers. Dry with a medium acidity, the palate has a medium extract, medium-textured furry and coating tannins, a medium body, and attractive length and persistence of chokeberry, prune spread, cream, flowers and red plum reduction with a medium finish. It has density on the palate all the way through. 2024-2028–IR
