Deep in colour with aromas of forest floor, dried leaves, dark fruits with a hint of smoke, this is a blend of 82% Cabernet Franc with 9% Petit Verdot and 9% Merlot. It is medium to full bodied and is more marked by the oak maturation with a distinct vanilla flavour, which combines with ripe black cherry flavours. Tighter in structure than the Merlot, it has more grippy tannins on the finish and was matured using 65% new French oak barrels.
