Sweet vanilla, strawberry creams, raisins and treacle aromas combine with more fresh fruit flavours on the palate from mulberries and cherries. It has a succulent mid palate with a juicy acidity and slightly grainy texture. A wine of great depth that is drinking well now and will stay at its peak. Produced from a blend of 70% Tempranillo, 27% Garnacha and 3% Graciano from 50- year-old vines in some of Rioja’s top sites. Mateo Ruiz Moreno is a seventh-generation wine grower – his family previously sold grapes, and grapes from these vineyards were sold to the Rioja’s top producers.
