Smoky aromas, cola, graphite and soot are in abundance and mingle with black fruits and blackcurrant flavours. It is a supple wine with light tannins and juicy fruits produced from a blend of 70% Tempranillo, 27% Garnacha and 3% Graciano. All grapes were grown on the Aldeanueva de Ebro vineyards, in the far east of the region, on old vines with an average age of 50 years. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in new oak barrels followed by ageing for a further 14 months in 85% French and 15% American oak.
