Deep purple hue. Pronounced and juicy nose, with damson, pomegranate, mulberry, cooked cherry, mushroom and damp earth. Punching well above its weight, this has a chiseled palate with superb length and a crunchy, moreish character driven by black fruit. There are cherries, damson, cooked plum, blackberry and mulberry, buoyed along by a delicious streak of acidity and gentle tannins. 2026-2029 – MP
