La Perle Rare Jones Syrah is an impressive single vineyard wine with a long life ahead. The vines, planted by Jean Marc in a small plot on the Languedoc-Roussillon border, began as cuttings originating from the famous Côte-Rôtie appellation of the Northern Rhône. Maturation for two years in new French barrique adds luxurious nutmeg, clove and vanilla notes which harmonize with the Syrah’s pure black fruit. Closely-knit tannins support. 2023-2033+–LW
