A medium bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with cooked blackberry and blackcurrant flavours and a supple mid palate. Grapes were grown in vineyards around Béziers and the wine named after the locks on the Canal du Midi that passes through the Languedoc, linking the Atlantic with the Mediterranean Sea. Constructed in the 17th century, it was a feat of engineering.
