Producer
Tasted as a cloudy, unfiltered tank sample, this wine showed good promise with white blossom and fruit flavours. It is light to medium bodied with a firm limey acidity and floral finish. It is a blend of 60% Grenache Blanc and 40% Roussanne.
Beaumajour, AOP Ventoux, Blanc, la Pierre du Coq
More expressive with a higher proportion of Roussanne and the addition of Marsanne, the Beaumajour has lots of fresh spring aromas, blossom and white fruits. The palate is elegant with citrus – mandarin and grapefruit notes alongside delicate white flowers. It is a blend of 60% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc and 10% Marsanne. The Roussanne and Marsanne components were fermented in oak.
