The second wine from Fifth Growth Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste. Owned by François-Xavier Borie, the estate consists of 90 hectares of vines in a block surrounding the 19th century Château. Vines are planted on deep, coarse gravel soils with 75% of Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2018 Lacoste Borie already shows some tertiary aromas of forest floor, with spices, vanilla and some bonfire notes. It is medium-bodied with some firm tannins and a slightly austere finish.
