A concentrated Pinot Noir, subtle in character with youthful aromas of mulberries and red cherries. This has bright fruit and nice depth with a long cherry finish. Vines are planted around the winery, with grapes harvested by hand and a second sorting and selection on arrival at the winery. Grapes were left to cold soak for seven days, followed by fermentation at 24°C to 26°C with regular pump overs. The wine was matured in a combination of French oak barrels and foudres for ten months but has no dominant oak character.
