A deep purple, opaque appearance here. The nose offers medium-intensity notes of dried flowers – marigolds and nasturtiums, sandalwood, blueberry pie and coffee liquor. Dry, the palate shows a low but adequate acidity, a medium extract, medium loose-textured tannins, a medium body and a plush mouthfeel. It has a nice length and intensity with prune, sandalwood, blueberry pie, dried florals, coffee liquor and char making an appearance before a medium-plus finish. 2024-2026–IR
