Sourced from 45-year-old vines. A deep ruby, opaque pour, it opens with medium-minus intensity intriguing notes of black tart plum and pit, olive oil, sweet Hungarian pepper, chokeberry and ripe pomegranate. Dry with a medium-minus acidity, it has medium-plus extract, fine textured tannins, body, length and fruit. It has a nice coating and silky presence and flavours of dark plum, chokeberry, ripe pomegranate, portabella mushroom, raw chocolate and grilled ripe tomato unfurling towards a medium-plus finish.
