The Listán Blanco grape was brought to the Canary Islands by 18th-century Andalusian conquerors. This same grape is called Palomino Fino in the Jerez region where it is used for sherry. Produced as a still white wine here, the Bodega El Lomo 2021 vintage is medium-bodied and creamy on the palate, with lively acidity, and intriguing aromas of struck match, apples, and lemon, over earthy, nutty nuances. 2023-2026–JB
