Honey, peach and pear drop aromas are immediately appealing. More fruits shine through on the palate with pears and nectarine. This is a medium-bodied white with nice mid-palate weight making it round and smooth leading to a crisp finish. Rueda is where Jaime grew up and for this wine he used Verdejo grapes from a four-hectare vineyard planted in 1998. After a short skin maceration, the wine was fermented in tank and matured on its fine lees with regular bâtonnage to add mouthfeel.
