Dense, almost opaque in colour, Inspiration 2020 has ripe black cherry and blackberry aromas with a touch of licorice and spice. It is smooth with good mid-palate fruit and an emerging savoury character leading to a bitter chocolate finish. Different components aged on average for nine months in premium French oak barrels were put together to find the perfect blend. The barrels used were a combination of first-, second-and third-use with different levels of toast. The oakiness is in perfect harmony with the wine's natural fruit.
