Spice and incense notes lead to a supple attack on the palate. It has an onion-skin colour and some good mid-palate weight – a perfect wine for bouillabaisse with all its accoutrement, namely garlic rouille, croutons and Gruyère cheese. A higher proportion of Syrah in the blend at 20% with equal parts of Cinsault and Grenache to give extra body and length.
