Malvira Barolo DOCG Boiolo
According to proprietor and winemaker Roberto Damonte, the 2015 and 2017 vintages of Malvirà Barolo reflect the new style of Barolo due to the impact of climate change. It is fascinating to taste the cooler vintages of 2013 and 2014 next to these warmer vintages to understand the role annual weather plays in the ultimate style of a wine. The 2015 Malvirà Barolo is a generous wine with an earlier drinking window. The nose is beginning to evolve with notes of leather, cured meat, dried cherry and brown sugar, while dense red fruit with a slight herbal twist follows on the palate.

Malvira Barolo DOCG Boiolo
Enthusiastic international critiques of the 2016 Malvirà Barolo mean that very little remains available on the market. An appealing pop of mint lifts this vintage’s floral and red fruit bouquet. The concentrated fresh red berry and cherry flavours are perfectly balanced by tannic grip while the notable length is sure to impress.
