Margaux de Brane AOC Margaux Henri Lurton, 2015

Lot

1935

Grape Variety

Merlot

Producer

SEMAV

Intense aromas of ginger, dark chocolate, blackcurrant and incense lie over a meaty background, creating a complex and enticing bouquet. This wine is medium bodied and elegant on the palate, with a powdery texture and intense bitter chocolate finish. A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 55% Merlot grapes were picked between September 17 and October 19, 2015. This Margaux is produced by Château Brane-Cantenac from the estate’s younger vines and wines that didn’t quite make the cut for the Grand Vin. It is drinking deliciously now and should continue to be enjoyed over the next five to six years.
