A blue-slate dominated site. The colour is a maturing medium amber. The aromas are of medium intensity and complex with poached pear, smoke, golden raisins, honey, caramel, oil, moss/underbrush and lemon essence elements. The palate is very sweet but balanced with a medium acidity and showing a high extract, a soft plus texture and a full body followed by a pretty remarkable length and intensity with poached and dried pears, honey, golden raisins and verbena flavours gliding towards a medium-plus finish. 2024-2038+–IR
