Fermented and rested on its lees for 17 months in third-fill French oak, keeping the oak influence well in check. Pale yellow robe with high intensity aromatics of custard, honey, yellow plum preserve, oatmeal and vanilla. The dry palate shows an adequate, low-to-medium acidity, a medium-plus extract and body with a medium texture and balanced alcohol. A little more subdued on palate than the nose, it has a medium length and fruit intensity with a spectrum of nutty, oatmeal, vanilla and custard elements with overtones of yellow fruit.
