Pronounced nose showing coal tar, black cherry, pencil shavings, forest floor and liquorice. Obvious with ripe black fruit including cherry, plum and berry. Oak brings liquorice, tar and woodsmoke. Vegetal hint on the back of the palate and the tannins are slightly aggressive. 2026-2028–MP
