The wine region is located 100 kilometres to the southwest of Valencia, inland. This area of Castilla-La-Mancha is best known for its bold Monastrell (a.k.a. Mourvèdre) wines but also produces some interesting bushvine Grenache. This is a good-value example with lots of floral, dark-fruited charm and pleasing minty undertones which provide a lot of freshness. Full bodied and juicy with broad, subtle tannins. 2024-2027–JB
