Garnet-coloured red wine with a seductive nose showing a layered character, combining age-derived leather and dried flower notes with sweet spices and cranberries. The full-bodied palate has high tannins, and the acidity required for long-term cellaring; dried olive and tobacco notes add a pleasing savoury element. Great refinement, and lots of future promise.
