Dark fruits, black cherries, black olives with a touch of smoke are all present on the nose. On the palate, more sweet vanilla flavours with blueberries and blackberries shine through. This is a full-bodied wine, youthful, oaky and with a grippy, grainy texture. Definitely not a shrinking violet of a wine! Grapes came from selected plots planted over 40 years ago at between 750950 metres altitude. Matured for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
