Bodegas Concavins (Clos Montblanc)

Red berries, white pepper and spices are on display in the bouquet of this blend of 60% Garrut with 40% Trepat. Garrut is a synonym for Monastrell, indigenous to Catalonia and found in other hot regions of the Mediterranean, California and Australia. Trepat, on the other hand, is local to Conca de Barberà and not widely planted elsewhere. Together they create a medium-bodied wine with good mid-palate and some firm chewy tannins.
