Bodegas Concavins (Clos Montblanc)

Garrut is the Catalan name for the Monastrell grape, referred to as Mourvèdre in France. This classic red variety has distinctive meaty, herbal aromas and chiselled tannins. Here, it is blended with local grape, Trepat, which adds lovely freshness and a rounded structure. Bright red and dark fruit mingle with peppery, floral notes on this smooth, medium-bodied wine. Finishes with firm, chalky tannins. 2023-2027–JB
