Conca de Barberà was previously reputed for its sparkling Cava wines; hence, the traditional Macabeu grape is widely planted. Josep has combined it with 40% Chardonnay grapes grown on the highest-altitude vineyards. The 2020 has fresh apple and grapefruit aromas. It is medium bodied with quite a broad structure and nice citrus-pith finish.
