Montblanc 362 Reserva DO Conca de Barbera, 2016

Fresh green figs, green leaves with a touch of cedar and smoke are starting to morph into more complex tertiary notes of undergrowth. It is smooth on the palate, dense with fine tannins and a balancing tart acidity adding length. With the seed of an idea for this wine in mind, the Carbonell family planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on an east-facing slope at 700 metres altitude in 1988. Vines are farmed organically on clay loam soils. It was matured for months in barrel.
