Deep purple hue. Aromatic and beguiling, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, licorice and tobacco. The nose leads to a very generous palate showing very ripe black fruit allied to soft acidity and velvety tannins. This has masses of black cherry, cooked plum and blackberry, along with cinnamon, crushed black pepper, licorice allsorts and pipe tobacco. Can do no wrong.
