A deep purple ruby, opaque robe. On the nose, it has mediumplus intensity aromas of sugared plum, cassis reduction, lard/black olive tapenade and mint. The palate is dry with a touch of spritz and medium-sized: extract, medium-textured tannins and body, with lovely length and persistent flavours of jam and candy, plum, prune and black olive.
