Melon de Bourgogne

Maison Foucher Lebrun

Fresh green apples, spring blossoms, fresh fennel and a yeasty character lead to a steely palate with nice mid-palate apple fruits and a saline finish. Domaine de la Bretonnière has 23 hectares of vineyards on granite schist soils. The Muscadet region constitutes the most western vineyards of the Loire Valley, close to where the river flows into the Atlantic Ocean at Saint-Nazaire. The fresh crisp white wines go perfectly with a plate of oysters.
