The Numero Uno cuvée is aged in small French oak barrels rather than the traditional seasoned chestnut casks used for Plozza’s other wines in this cellar. This brings a bit more heft and toasted-oak spice to the wine. The nose has a pretty florality, while the palate is fruitier and more savoury.
