Deep in colour, with black cherries and other dark fruit aromas, this is a concentrated wine with some potential for aging. It is supple and round with good mid palate. A touch of smoke complements dark fruit flavours on the palate and good acidity gives balance. Part-aged in large oak casks, part in French oak barrels.
