Riverview Vineyards Red Wine California
Riverview Red has plummy fruits with a hint of fresh herbs such as oregano. It is soft and mellow with sweet mid-palate fruit. Produced from a blend of 52% Zinfandel, 37% Merlot and 11% Ruby Cabernet, it is medium bodied with a nice juicy fresh acidity and light tannins. Half was aged in American oak barrels.
Riverview Vineyards Merlot California
Merlot grown in a vineyard 24 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean was picked in September 2017, following a hot and dry growing season. Deep in colour with spicy balsamic aromas, some green leaf and a slight smoky note, flavours of plums and black treacle emerge with a savoury edge on the finish. It was matured six months in French oak barrels.
Riverview Vineyards Zinfandel California
A rich wine with aromas of tar and raisins, it is starting to show some development. It was matured for twelve months in French oak barrels and is well balanced with a juicy acidity. Zinfandel vines are planted on sandy loam soils in the Central Valley.
