This wine was produced by the Carpintero family, grape growers turned winemakers, who farm seven different grape varieties matched to specific plots. Tempranillo vines, planted over 35 years ago, are some of the oldest on the estate. The wine was matured in new heavily toasted American oak barrels for six months.
