Bosman Family Vineyards

Planted to bush vine in 1952, Optenhorst is the third-oldest Chenin Blanc vineyard in South Africa. This old vine wine is carefully crafted in the Bosman’s 260-year-old cellar with a short élevage in mature barrels to highlight the wine’s natural fruit. Aromas of golden apple and beeswax are followed by the taste of honey-drizzled baked apple, melon, and grapefruit. Refreshing acidity makes this an ideal food wine. Pair with seafood bouillabaisse. 2023-2026 – LW
