Pale ruby hue. A thoroughly decent little Pinot showing notes of strawberry, red currant, raspberry, rhubarb, forest floor and beetroot. Although Grand Cry Burgundy it ain't, at this price it's a minor miracle. The fruit is fresh, showing genuine complexity, and the concentration is admirable given the price. There are hints of fresh red fruit, undergrowth, and even baking spice, all working together to deliver a balanced, lingering finish. 2026-2028 – MP
